VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
NJPEA is in need of volunteers from members that are willing to be involved with all that is needed to run the association. There are many committees that need to be filled and help is also needed at our fund raising functions. Our horse shows are our biggest fund-raisers and the outcome of these shows establish our budget for year end awards and helps with the cost of running the club.
Please call or e-mail Martha if you have time to help NJPEA.

CHANGE IN NEWSLETTER MAILINGS
Due to the increasing cost of mailing and publishing the newsletter, you may receive a hard copy of the newsletter for a fee of $15.00 per year. The newsletter will be available ON-Line at no charge in a pdf format for those that wish to view the newsletter via your computer. This will go in affect after the mass March mailing.
Please use the nomination form to submit the fee for the mailing.

NEW SHOW SECRETARY
NJPEA would like to welcome Rita Ashley as she will be our show secretary and we are asking all those that plan on competing to please send in a copy of your horses papers to her so that she can enter the information in her computer. BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND
Due to the tremendous response of the fun classes we had last year, NJPEA will be offering the Doggie Trail Class on Friday night sponsored by Hungry Puppy in Farmingdale, NJ with the winner receiving a $50 gift Certificate. The Adult Lead/Line class will be sponsored this year by Stitching Horse Leathers of Kingston, NJ with the winner receiving a Box of Chocolates and 2nd-6th all receiving a Chocolate bar. The Adult Walk/Trot Class will be sponsored by Hemlock Hill Farm of Colts Neck, NJ again this year with awards going to the top three placings. These classes are all fund raisers for NJPEA and open to all breeds with an entry fee of $10.00. We can’t wait to see what you will all come up this year for the Adult Walk Trot Class!

Stitching Horse Leathers to build New Store!
Edith Kall owner of Stitching Horse Leathers of Kingston, NJ announced the ground breaking ceremonies to build a brand new store. Look for more information and date of the Grand Opening!

Banquet Rescheduled
Our banquet has been rescheduled for March 29, 2008 and we are trying something new with having a brunch type of affair then a formal evening event. Those that have sent in their reservations will be receiving their checks back since this banquet only costs $25 a person.
